I started this a few days ago and fully finished it yesterday and I've been thinking about it since starting. Its really good and interesting. I made an itch.io account just to leave comments. Amazing game! The mystery goes from me being utterly dumbfounded as to how I'll ever understand, then steadily the connections are revealed. It feels very well connected in that it follows its own 'rules'. I also really like that if you were to draw line(s) through the clues/discoveries it wouldn't be a single line, its like groups of connections that then link to others like a window that was hit in multiple spots but there are a few cracks that connect one group to another. It ends up having the discoveries feel very natural since the scattered-ness mimics how learning, connecting, and discovering the bigger picture in real life happens (at least in my brain.) Since irl there isn't anyone carefully plotting out all the details and leaving hints everywhere, you have to find connections in things that seem unrelated or you though were finished.

Hello! Question to William - (minor bug?) is it normal that, nppbeqvat gb 00-npg-fgehpgher gur Npg VI fgnegf jvgu Gvzrfgnzc 21, jurernf nppbeqvat gb gur "yvfg" pbzznaq gur Npg VI fgnegf jvgu 20?

Great great game, thank you!

I heard about this from the announcement from Evil Trout so I had to check it out! Thanks for the incredible experience! Can't wait to play it again when it re-releases!

Easily spent my day on this game and had an awesome time! Thank you so much for the opportunity to play such a good brain game and I've gone ahead and wishlisted the remaster over on Steam too! <3

I haven't finished yet so I won't even look at the other comments but I need an outlet for my frustration. Finding all the timecodes is driving me crazy, I hate it, I love it but I hate it. I've never felt so dumb in my life, I'm just writing this on the off chance William reads and know what he's done to me, are you proud of yourself William? Cause honestly you should, for all the suffering i'm going through I have to admit this is one of the best Obra Dinn-esque games I've seen, it's actually tied with 'No case should remain unsolved' for the first place as my favorite puzzle detective game inspired by Obra Dinn.

Just finished the game, and wow, can't believe how amazing this game is for how little exposure it's gotten. This deserves to be up there with its inspirations. Not only is the deduction mechanism unique and well-designed, but the writing, twists, and secrets land amazingly well. Not to mention the game's length, which is surprisingly long and kept me entertained throughout. Excited to see what you put out next!

Not a big deal but issue report with translation to Japanese (spoiler)

In Japanese, on 04-KI-3-10-11, the usual term "上の階" is written as "上階" thus search for "upstairs" and "上の階" is not matching. Minor but search result issue.
